My first music video

I’ve been thinking about making some kind of videos for my songs for a while now, but I didn’t really know how. I have plenty of ideas about how they could look, but I know precisely zip about video software and editing, so turning that into reality is another story altogether. So to just get my ass in gear and make one, I decided to start simple: simply film myself recording one of the songs and then do some very basic editing with a program called Ulead Video studio.

And so, here it is. Check it out and let me know what you think! :)

About Sami

I was born and raised in Sweden and started studying music at the age of 10. Over the following 16 years I learned how to play the guitar, mandolin, bass, drums, trumpet, flutes, piano, sing and a few other things, and eventually graduated from college with a degree in performance. Now I'm trying to put all that stuff to good use and build myself a career, so that I can become incredibly rich and powerful and take over the universe.

  1. Sami-that was beautiful. Great lyrics. And I loved your little eyebrow flutter at the end. And what fun to see “the man of many languages” live. Take care. Looking forward to more in the future.

  2. Sami-I just played your song for my wife (she’s a musician) and and she absolutely loved it. She praised your voice and your flute playing, as well as the lyrics. Great job!
