I have a new song up on my MySpace page now, called “Go away”. I just finished recording it about an hour ago. Check it out!
I’ve been a bit busy the last couple of days but it seems to be calming down now, so I should have more time to record again. I finished a new song that I’m pretty happy with yesterday. It’s a bit faster and more energetic than the songs I already have on my MySpace page. I’m gonna try and record it tomorrow. Should be fun. 
I’ve been reading up on marketing tips. A big challenge for any aspiring musician is getting seen, especially on the internet. There’s a band in every corner, so finding a good way to get noticed and stand out is not entirely easy. I shall think about it and come up with something clever… And then I will be instantly famous and go on a world tour for 11 months, make ridiculous amounts of money and win a couple of awards. Piece of cake… 
Now, finally, my website is up and running! I spent quite a while wrestling with the layout of the page. I’m not exactly a genious on html and CSS, but I wanted to make the site myself. So it took a while, but now it’s done! Heh heh, not too shabby, if I say so myself. There will probably be some minor tweaks and improvements to the site every now and then, but I’m quite happy with it.
I still haven’t quite solved the problem with recording music. My other computer is still a bit messed up, but I’m working on it. I should be back in business in not too long, I hope.
My computer has both WinXP and Ubuntu on it. I record music with various software in windows, and do just random other stuff with Linux. Today, the computer decided that it was a good day for WinXP to stop working, and so it did. Because of this, recording new songs seems to be on hold until I can fix the problem. Really annoying…
Since I couldn’t record anything, and had a bunch of time to spare, I worked a bit more on the website instead in linux. I signed up for web hosting with a company yesterday, but for some reason it seems they didn’t actually receive the order. No money has been drawn from my account, and I never received the confirmation email they said they’d send me. Also quite annoying. What is it with me and electronics today? If I haven’t received anything by Monday, I’ll give them a call and see what’s up with that.
